Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor of Ancient History in the Department of Art & Culture, History, and Antiquity at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Previously, I was an Universitätsassistentin at the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Vienna, Austria. Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Center of Excellence: Changes in Sacred Texts and Traditions, within the Faculty of Theology at the University of Helsinki, Finland.

I received my Ph.D. in Assyriology from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Yale University.
